One mission: to save lives every day by supporting air rescue
For more than 30 years, the Luxembourg Air Rescue Foundation (FLAR) has supported Luxembourg Air Rescue (LAR) in its mission to provide rapid air rescue and intensive care patient transport in Luxembourg, the Greater Region and internationally.
Thanks to your donations, FLAR is able to provide LAR with high-performance medical equipment – helicopters, air ambulance jets, defibrillators, blood analysis devices and infusion pumps – helping to save lives.
The vital role of our foundation
To operate as an independent and autonomous public-interest foundation dedicated to raising donations and funding LAR’s equipment needs.
To ensure that the funds entrusted to us are used transparently: FLAR retains ownership of the equipment acquired, which is contractually made available to LAR.
To ensure rigorous governance: a volunteer board of directors, lifetime appointment of members, annual audits, and a clear commitment to efficiency.
What do your donations support?
The purchase of state-of-the-art medical equipment (e.g. defibrillators, infusion pumps, blood analyzers) for LAR’s helicopters and air ambulance aircraft.
The funding of aircraft when LAR, as a non-profit organization, cannot finance them on its own.

To guarantee a high standard of response: 24/7, 365 days a year, by highly qualified specialists.
